Full spoilers and pics for the week of July 5th

Monday 5th July

Holly overdoes the drugs and freaks out
Holly (Sophie Powles) goes to a club with Aaron (Danny Miller) and Jackson (Marc Silcock) and bumps into Roz (Kirsty Leigh Porter). She’s quickly drawn back in as Roz offers her some coke and agrees to one line. Later, a wired Holly admits to Roz she was having such a good time, she had another line and a pill. Roz reminds her she was taking it easy and panics when she finds her in the loo in a mess. She rushes to find Aaron, who finds her in a cubicle panicking her heart is beating too fast and she can’t breathe. Aaron takes her back to Smithy. Will he keep Holly’s overdose a secret from John and Moira?

David wants to come clean to Leyla about Tanya
Leyla (Rokhsaneh Ghawam-Shahidi) invites Declan (Jason Merrells) over for a drink and David (Matthew Wolfenden) is thrown when he sees him in the shop. Declan suggests they start afresh and when Leyla pops out, he reassures him he didn’t know the lengths Nathan would go to. But David is adamant he can’t risk it again, he could’ve lost Leyla over this and he’s decided he’s quitting the council.

Tuesday 6th July

Diane’s furious to hear Doug’s still not supportive of Charlie
Everyone has tried to get Doug (Duncan Preston) to drop his detective act and accept Charlie (George Costigan) is a genuine guy. Diane (Elizabeth Estensen) is incredulous at Doug’s meddling and insists if he really has her interests at heart, he’ll stay away and accept that her and Charlie are happy.
Holly continues to lie
Aaron (Danny Miller) reluctantly lies to Paddy (Dominic Brunt) that Holly (Sophie Powles) had too much to drink. She’s relieved when Paddy agrees not to tell John (James Thornton) she stayed at Smithy. However, he feels awful when John buys her lies.

Leyla finds the DVD of David and Tania
Leyla (Rokhsaneh Ghawam-Shaihdi) is distraught when she accidently comes across the DVD of David (Matthew Wolfenden) and Tania. When David returns to an empty house he quickly realises Leyla has seen it and rushes to Victoria to tell her the truth. He tries to explain but hurt she tells him to leave. Has David blown it by not telling the truth?
Elsewhere:
• Bob (Anthony Audenshaw) is trying to be optimistic but Viv (Deena Payne) is making it harder than ever for him to see the twins
• Jai (Christopher Bisson) and Faye (Kim Thomson) kiss when they’re ‘working’ late
• Nikhil (Rik Makarem) rejects Maisie’s (Alice Coulthard) offer to stay the night at Holdgate

Thursday 8th July (Ep 1)

Nikhil’s wary to sense Maisie is more serious than he is
Maisie (Alice Coulthard) is determined to spend more time with Nikhil (Rik Makarem) and claims she’s deciding their date for tonight and it’s a night alone at Home Farm.
Leyla’s guilt at what her demands drive David to
Leyla (Rokhsaneh Ghawam-Shahidi) tells David (Matthew Wolfenden) he’s done nothing wrong and she feels terrible that she put him under so much pressure in the first place.
Elsewhere:
• Jai (Christopher Bisson) and Faye (Kim Thomson) admit they fancy each other
• Carl’s (Tom Lister) narked when Chas (Lucy Pargeter) invites Aaron (Danny Miller) and Jackson (Marc Silcock) round for dinner

Thursday 8th July (Ep 2)

Nathan makes a big mistake
Natasha (Amanda Donohoe) is wary when Cain (Jeff Horldey) hints at getting to them through Maisie (Alice Coulthard). Natasha storms out but is clearly shaken and when Nathan (Lyndon Ogbourne) learns what happened, he’s fuming. Later, Nathan is haunted by Cain and he coolly asserts that Nathan isn’t the only one with a family. Nathan’s nemesis darkens and warns he’s just made a huge mistake. What will Cain do next?
Diane looks forward to her new life in France
Diane (Elizabeth Estensen) makes a heartfelt declaration to Charlie (George Costigan) and admits she can’t wait for their French life together.
Maisie’s efforts to seduce Nikhil fail
Maisie (Alice Coulthard) is deflated when Nikhil (Rik Makarem) fails to succumb to her seduction at Home Farm, as they start to get intimate he makes his excuses and leaves. What is Nikhil hiding?
Elsewhere:
• Chas (Lucy Pargeter) is annoyed when she goes all out to make Aaron (Danny Miller) and Jackson (Marc Silcock) welcome at Mill Cottage and Carl (Tom Lister) doesn’t make any effort and instead goes to the pub

Friday 9th July

Natasha finally buckles as Will goes missing
Natasha (Amanda Donohoe) is furious when Will (Oscar Lloyd) doesn’t come home from school. When Cain (Jeff Hordley) finally drops Will off Natasha is worried at what might he is capable of and buckles under the pressure. Will Natasha pay up? Is this the end to her murderous secret?
Diane is determined to hurry through the sale of the pub
Keen to sell the pub and start her life with Charlie (George Costigan), Diane (Elizabeth Estensen) decides to lower the price determined to make it happen as soon as possible.
Maisie realises she’ll have to fight for Nikhil’s affections
Maisie (Alice Coulthard) worries to Katie (Sammy Winward) and Adele (Tanya Vital) that Nikhil’s (Rik Makarem) still not made a move on her.

• Things are still tense between Carl (Tom Lister) and Chas (Lucy Pargeter) but Carl enjoys Eve’s (Suzanne Shaw) attention as light relief
• Viv (Deena Payne) agrees to let Bob (Anthony Audenshaw) take the twins to Newquay
